WFU Law School Appoints Two New Faculty Members

Jennifer M. Collins of Sidley Austin Brown & Wood in Washington, DC and Wendy Parker from the University of Cincinnati College of Law join the faculty at Wake Forest Law School in July 2003.
Jennifer Collins was a member of the firm’s white-collar criminal defense, appellate, and religious institutions practice groups. Prior to joining Sidley Austin, she was an Assistant United States Attorney in Washington, D.C. Collins is a graduate of Yale University with a BA, cum laude, Distinction in the History Major. Her JD, magna cum laude, is from Harvard Law School where she also served as Notes Editor for the Law Review. Collins will teach Criminal Law and Evidence.
Wendy Parker has been on the faculty at the University of Cincinnati for seven years and has won the student-voted teacher of the year award twice. Her scholarly publications and presentations have been in the areas of school desegregation and judicial remedies. She is a graduate of the University of Texas with a BA in History with high honors and a JD with honors. Parker will teach Torts and Remedies.
