Wake Forest University School of Law and the Babcock School of Management are pleased to announce that Professor Lawrence A. Cunningham, Professor of Law and Business at Boston College, will give the inaugural Wilson Lecture in Law and Business on Tuesday, October 21 at 3:00 p.m. in Room 1312 of the Worrell Professional Center. His lecture is entitled, "How Warren Buffett Naturally Avoided the Tele-Dot-Com Binge".
Professor Cunningham is a noted expert on stock valuation and investing and the author of numerous books, including an internationally-acclaimed collection of Warren Buffett’s letters to Berkshire Hathaway shareholders, The Essay of Warren Buffett: Lessons for Corporate America; the best-selling How to Think Like Benjamin Graham and Invest Like Warren Buffett; the newly released Outsmarting the Smart Money; and the widely-used textbook Introductory Accounting and Finance for Lawyers.
The Wilson Lecture is funded through an endowment established by William T. Wilson III (’80 JD) to promote issues and opportunities at the intersection of law and business.
