Wake Forest Moot Court Team Wins National Family Law Competition

The Gabrielli Moot Court team won the national family law competition in Albany, New York, this past weekend. Team members Scott Bayzle, Ben Brightwell, and Sarah Spisich won the gold and will have a commemorative silver bowl to add to our trophy case. Professor Suzanne Reynolds was the team coach.
The Wake Forest team competed against 23 teams from 18 schools, taking out Mercer in the quarterfinals, Brigham Young in the semifinals, and Florida State in the finals. Scott Bayzle, who argued both sides of one of the issues for the team, also won best oralist.
