Dean Blake Morant has appointed three faculty members to essential administrative roles at the law school.
Professor Ronald F. Wright will succeed H. Miles Foy as Executive Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Wright, a noted scholar and legal educator in the areas of criminal justice and administrative law, will focus on curricular and academic issues affecting students and faculty. Foy, who has masterfully served two terms in this position, will return to the faculty.
Professor Sid Shapiro, University Distinguished Chair in Law, will assume the newly created position of Associate Dean for Research and Development. Shapiro will continue his efforts with the faculty development workshop series, assist faculty with their scholarly aspirations, and originate ideas that foster the intellectual vitality of the Wake Forest community.
Professor Suzanne Reynolds will chair the Dean’s Advisory Committee. This committee is charged with providing assistance with special projects, such as accreditation, and discovering new and innovative ways to advance the law school’s mission.
