Spring Semester SCOTUS Talks Have Begun

The law school recently introduced a new speaker’s series for students this fall entitled “SCOTUS Talks.” Law faculty members will discuss recent and pending Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) cases throughout the academic year. The talks will be Wednesday or Thursday at noon during the activities hour in the large courtroom with food provided. Students will have the opportunity to raise questions about the implications of these important cases.

Spring SCOTUS Dates Are:

  • Wednesday, Feb. 13: Dean Ron Wright: Criminal Procedure – Kimbrough v. US and Gall v US
  • Wednesday, Mar. 19: Professor Ahmed Taha: Antiturst — Leegin Creative Leather Products, Inc. v. PSKS, Inc
  • Wednesday, Mar. 26: Professor Dick Schneider — Global Climate Change and EPA — Massachusetts v. EPA
