An article written by Alan Palmiter has been recognized as one of the “ten best” securities law articles of 2007 by Securities Law Review, a publication of West Group. The quarterly journal reprints the year’s top scholarly articles in the field, based on a poll of law professors who survey hundreds of corporate and securities articles.
The article entitled “Mutual Fund Boards: A Failed Experiment in Regulatory Outsourcing” (which summarizes the history and empirical data on the dysfunctionality of mutual fund boards) was selected from more than 400 securities and corporation articles published last year.
This is the fifth time that one of Alan Palmiter’s articles has won such “top ten” recognition.
