Dean Emeritus and Professor of Law Robert Walsh has been appointed to a five-year term on the Federal Judicial Center Foundation Board by Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr.The purpose of this board is to review and accept proposed gifts for the work of the Federal Judicial Center. Pursuant to a federal statute,the board has seven members. Three are appointed by the Chief Justice of the United States, two by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, and two by the Speaker of the House of Representatives. The next meeting of the board will be in the fall.
