Loan Repayment Assistance available for grads working in public interest jobs

Several years ago, the Wake Forest University School of Law established a Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) for graduates in the public service/public interest sector.

The program was created to provide Wake Forest law students with a choice of pursuing lower-paying public service careers. The program recognizes that law student indebtedness poses a significant barrier to students interested in public service careers. By alleviating some of the burden of loan repayment through the making of forgivable loans to selected graduates who enter public service, the program also seeks to encourage graduates to remain in public service careers.
