Assistant Professor Gregory Parks, co-editor of the new book, “Alpha Phi Alpha: A Legacy of Greatness, the Demands of Transcendence,” will be analyzing his work from 4:00-5:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, in the Z. Smith Reynolds Library Auditorium.
When can we say that a fraternity is more than just a fraternity? It is dictated by the ideals and structure of the organization. In his newly published book, Parks explores the challenges that one fraternity has grappled with for more than a century to be not only the first but also the greatest.
Copies of the book, will be available for purchase and signing. The event, which is free and open to the public, is co-sponsored by WFU School of Law and the Z. Smith Reynolds Library. Registration is available here.
