Shannon Gilreath, a Wake Forest University law professor, will read from his most recent book, “The End of Straight Supremacy: Realizing Gay Liberation,” at noon Tuesday in the Z. Smith Reynolds Library auditorium.

The book questions whether gay assimilation is a positive thing, challenging conservative and liberal politics in the process. A question-and-answer session will follow the reading. Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing.
