Wake Forest hosts BarCares Law School Roundtable

The fourth annual BarCares Law School Roundtable dinner was held at Wake Forest University School of Law on Thursday, Feb. 16.

BarCARES, a service provided by the North Carolina Bar Association, is a confidential, short-term intervention program provided cost-free to members of local bar groups and students, faculty and staff of law schools which have “opted in.”

Event Leader Ann Gibbs, associate dean at Wake Forest University School of Law, worked with other law school representatives to develop a program that featured an interactive conversation with student representatives from each North Carolina law school about stress and ways that the law schools can assist students with stress management.

Dr. Eric Gadol of HRC Behavioral Health & Psychiatry, PA facilitated a lively discussion centering on the many challenges faced by law students.
