Professor Kami Simmons is participating in a conference at the New York University School of Law entitled “New Frontiers in Race and Criminal Justice” on April 17, 2012.
Panel subjects included: “What should prosecutors do to address racial bias and the disproportionate impact of criminal justice policies on communities of color? How can law enforcement and police officers mitigate implicit racial bias? What can and should be done about mass incarceration, sentencing, and collateral consequences of conviction?”
