Forsyth County District Attorney Jim O’Neill said the controversial law in Florida that is at the center of the Trayvon Martin shooting is flawed.
“While I am not personally familiar with the police file in the Trayvon Martin case, I would say that, much like the (N.C.) Racial Justice Act, our legislators must be extremely careful and mindful of the unintended consequences of well-intentioned but bad legislation,” he said.
