Mayors Allen Joines and Nancy Vaughan to discuss a ‘Tale of Two Cities’ Monday, Sept. 8

Mayors Allen Joines of Winston-Salem and Nancy Vaughan of Greensboro will discuss a “Tale of Two Cities” from 3 to 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 8, in Room 1308 of the Worrell Professional Center.  The event is open to all faculty, staff and students.

The discussion will center on policies in the two cities, including recent policy changes that have occurred. The discussion is part of the State and Local Government course taught by adjunct Professor Don Vaughan (‘79).

Vaughan has more than 30 years of experience as a practicing attorney. He regularly teaches a course on State and Local Government, bringing his own experience with seven terms on the Greensboro City Council, two as Mayor Pro Tem, and two terms in the North Carolina State Senate.
