Student Profile: Meredith Pace (’17)

Meredith Pace ('17)

Name: Meredith Pace

Hometown: Winston-Salem, N.C.

Why I chose Wake Forest School of Law: I choose Wake Forest School of Law because of its distinguished reputation, the collegiality of the student body, and the engagement of the professors and faculty. I knew Wake Forest was the right fit because I felt at home the moment I walked through its doors.

Undergraduate school and degree: I attended North Carolina State University. Political Science/Business Administration.

Hobbies and Interests: I enjoy exercising and being outdoors. The neighborhood surrounding Wake Forest University has great cross-country trails. I am especially fond of Reynolda Gardens and usually find myself running those trails several times a week.

Plans for after graduation: I would like to pursue a career in public policy after graduation. Specifically, my interest is in governmental affairs such as lobbying and grass roots campaigns. My ambition is to one day run for public office.

Campus involvement:  Admissions Ambassador, Reclaiming Futures (Division of Big Brother Big Sister), and Women in Law.

Something interesting about me:  During my time at North Carolina State University, I took an interest in beekeeping. NC State has an excellent apiculture program. I took a course focused on the understanding and maintenance of honey bees. I found beekeeping to be a fascinating trade and hope to one day have my own honey bee colony.
