Professor Timothy Davis featured in Journal of Blacks in Higher Education

Professor Tim Davis is one the country’s best known sports law scholars.

Professor Timothy Davis has been appointed as Executive Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. He is one of eight other African Americans in the country to be recently appointed to an administrative role in higher education. 

Professor Davis is currently featured n the Journal of Blacks in Higher Education for his recent appointment to Executive Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.  Professor Davis is one the country’s best known sports law scholars.  He has co-authored a casebook on sports law, and co-authored “The Business of Sports Agents,” published by the University of Pennsylvania Press.  He frequently presents papers and lectures at academic conferences and continuing legal education seminars.  He serves on the Review Board for the United States Anti-Doping Agency and is a member of the Board of Advisors for the National Sports Law Institute.  In addition, Professor Davis teaches Contracts and Sales, and is a member of the Contracts Drafting Committee of the National Conference of Bar Examiners. He begins his new role on Aug. 1.
