Each year the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys (NCAWA) hosts a set of forums by women judges at North Carolina’s seven law schools. The NCAWA’s Women Judges Forum at Wake Forest Law is set for Tuesday, Sept. 22, prior to the North Carolina Court of Appeals session at 3 p.m.
North Carolina Court of Appeals Judge Donna Stroud will head the panel of women trial judges about their career paths beginning at noon in Room 1312 of the Worrell Professional Center. The event, which is being co-sponsored by the Women in Law student group, is free and open to the public.
Everyone who takes part in the Women Judges Forum is invited to stay for the Court of Appeals oral arguments. The court session will be followed by a reception.
