Erik Nyce (JD ’87) appointed to Prince George’s County Circuit Court of Maryland

Erik Nyce (JD ’87) was appointed to the Prince George’s County Circuit Court in Maryland by Gov. Larry Hogan in January 2016. Learn more here.

Nyce is currently serving on the District Court for Prince George’s County, and will fill a vacancy on the Circuit Court of Prince George’s County. Prior to the bench, Nyce was a partner with Doran, Siciliano, Gallagher & DeBlasis, LLP, and Lombardi, Powers & Amster. His previous experience also includes serving as counsel to the Prince George’s County Board of Elections and as a panel attorney for the District Court Division of the Prince George’s County Public Defender’s Office.

“After conducting a thorough vetting process, I am confident that Judge Nyce, Judge Mason, Ms. Engel, and Mr. Getty are the most qualified candidates to fill these vacancies, and their extensive legal experience has prepared them to be strong advocates for the law and the citizens of their respective counties, and I offer my sincere congratulations,” said Maryland Gov.
