All Wake Forest School of Law alumni are invited to participate in the school’s third annual Law Alumni Weekend on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4-5, 2016.
“All alumni are welcome and invited no matter which year they graduated,” explains Megan Ratley, assistant director for Law Alumni Engagement. “We hope that alumni will visit the Wake Forest campus and reconnect with classmates and professors, as well as meet current students and learn about what the School of Law is doing today.”
Reunion-year alumni (meaning those whose graduating class years end in 1 or 6) will have time for special class gatherings and dinners on Friday evening. These gatherings are being planned by volunteers from each reunion class and separate invitations will be sent for those events.
On Friday, Nov. 4, members of the Law Board of Visitors and Rose Council will be on campus for their fall meetings followed by the Dean’s Welcome Reception in the Courtyard from 5 to 7 p.m.
“I hope you’ll join Hoppy and me as we kick off what is sure to be a wonderful weekend,” says Dean Suzanne Reynolds (JD ’77).
Saturday, Nov. 5, will kick off with “Biscuits with Faculty” in Worrell in the morning followed by the annual Rose Council Tailgate, which will be held two hours prior to kickoff of the football game featuring the Demon Deacons taking on the University of Virginia. Game time is TBA.
“We will share game time and tailgate location when they become available,” Ratley says. “More details will be released in the coming weeks, but be sure to start planning to attend now. We will be updating the website as plans are solidified, so please check back often.”
