Hometown: Durham, North Carolina

Undergraduate education: Psychology major and sociology and history minors at the University of San Francisco, Class of 2011

Why I chose Wake Forest Law: I really just went with my gut. I felt a positive vibe when I came to visit the school. I was also awarded a great scholarship that allowed me to choose Wake Forest.

Favorite experience with Wake Forest Law: Taking Poverty Law with Professor Steve Virgil and studying abroad in London last summer.

Plans for after graduation: I would love to be an Assistant District Attorney in North Carolina.

Law school involvement and accomplishments: Member of Public Interest Law Organization (PILO),  a participant in the Innocence and Justice Clinic with Professor Mark Rabil and a “Know Your Rights” project volunteer. As a member of the Pro Bono Honor Society, being inducted last year was a special experience.

Hobbies and interests: I love politics, reading, my dog Wallace and working toward criminal justice reform.

Not-so-fun fact: I was in a hot air balloon accident many years ago. We crashed into a house but everyone was OK.
