Earn CLE ethics credits with Dean Suzanne Reynolds (JD ’77) in February 2018

With the deadline for 2017 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits fast approaching, Dean Suzanne Reynolds (JD ’77) and the Wake Forest School of Law are offering two different CLE credit opportunities for Wake Forest Law alumni in seven North Carolina cities: Charlotte, Greenville, Hickory, Wake Forest, Wilimington and Winston-Salem. Credit approval is currently pending with the North Carolina State Bar Association (NCBA).

In Greensboro and Wake Forest (Old Campus), Dean Reynolds and David Furr (’80, JD ’82), will present a one-hour CLE Ethics course entitled, “Cyber Security and Ethical Issues for Lawyers.” This entails a comprehensive review of the practice issues for lawyers regarding the cyber threats we face and how we interact with our clients under the Revised Formal Opinion 477 as well as NCPPC 1.6 (Duty of Competence) and 1.6 (Duty of Confidentiality).

In Charlotte, Greensboro, Greenville, Hickory, Wilmington and Winston-Salem, Dean Reynolds and John Robinson will present a two-hour CLE program, “The Ethics of Clarence Darrow,” which will include Mr. Robinson performing as Clarence Darrow.

The cost of attending one of these CLE classes is $25* and includes lunch at the Wake Forest (Old Campus) and Greensboro events and a post-CLE reception at the other events with the exception of Greenville thanks to the sponsorship of Ward & Smith P.A. Please use the registration links next to the corresponding city for which you plan to attend. WINSTON-SALEM — Feb. 1 (Two hour CLE with Dean Reynolds and John Robinson): 2-4 p.m. at Wake Forest University School of Law, Worrell Professional Center, 1834 Wake Forest Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27106. Reception to follow from 4-5 p.m. REGISTER HERE for the Winston-Salem CLE class.

WILMINGTON — Feb. 7 (Two hour CLE with Dean Reynolds and John Robinson):  2-4 p.m.at City Club of Wilmington, 23 South 2nd Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.  Reception to follow from 4-5 p.m. REGISTER HERE for the Wilmington CLE class.
