Wake Forest Law’s “Conversation With” committee welcomed former University of North Carolina and Davidson College President Thomas W. Ross on March 22, 2017, to the Worrell Professional Center. Professor Ron Wright led the conversation with Ross.
“There is no lawyer I’d rather put in front of you than Tom Ross,” Dean Suzanne Reynolds (‘77) said during her introduction. “Today, you’ll see two principles: be guided by your principles to do that best you can do and as you gain experience, take on bigger challenges.”

Amanda Whorton (‘17) interviewed Professor Kami Chavis Simmons on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Wake Forest Law as a part of the “Conversation With” series. Professor Simmons, who joined the Wake Forest Law faculty in 2006, was recently named the Director of the Criminal Justice Program, and frequently makes presentations on law-enforcement issues. She is a leader in the field of police accountability. She writes in the areas of police practices, prosecutorial accountability, federal hate crimes legislation and enforcement, and racial profiling. She was elected to the American Law Institute in 2012, and she was recently appointed to the Board of Advisors for the Center for Prosecutor Integrity. Continue reading »
