Wake Forest Law to become home to newest North Carolina Business Court

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Wake Forest University School of Law will become home to the newest North Carolina Business Court, state officials announced Wednesday, March 9.

Business Law Program presents two new events in the Learn@Lunch series on March 22 and 24

The Business Law Program and Business Law Society will host two new events as part of the Learn@Lunch series on March 22 and 24. The first will feature Keir D. Gumbs, partner at Covington & Burling, LLP and vice chair of the Securities and Capital Markets Practice Group, from 12-12:50 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22 in Worrell 1302. Gumbs’ talk is entitled “Practice Perspectives from a Washington, D.C. Law Firm Partner.” Then on March 24, Shauna Barnes (JD ’10), Off-Centered Counsel for Dogfish Head Companies, will present at 12 p.m. on Thursday, March 24 in Worrell 1302.
