Journal of Law and Policy announces new 2018-2019 editors

The Journal of Law and Policy (JLP) has named its new Board of Editors for the 2018-2019 academic year. The staff of the Journal oversees the production of the Journal and is selected based on the following criteria: academic success, performance in an annual writing competition, and, in some cases, prior experience in law and policy.

Journal of Law and Policy to host symposium on the legal, ethical issues of quarantines on Friday, Feb. 23

The Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy (JLP) will host the “Isolated by the Law: Legal and Ethical Issues Surrounding Quarantine During Public Health Emergencies” symposium beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, in the Worrell Professional Center, Room 1312.

The event is free and open to the public. Up to four hours of free Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit from the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) has been approved. The symposium is co-sponsored by the Wake Forest Center for Bioethics, Health, & Society.  Registration is available online or onsite or by contacting Symposium Editor Stephanie Criscione.

For those who can’t make it to campus, the event will be live webcast in two segments: Session 1 (8:45 to 12:15) and Session 2 (12:50 to 4:15).
